What's this "infosnacks" all about?

infosnacks is an informational database dedicated to recording knowledge in small bits of information. We believe that this granularity of information will make it easy to quickly locate the intended information without scanning through long articles.

Who owns the content I publish on infosnacks?

You retain full ownership of your publications on infosnacks. By providing a verifiable email address or websites URL with the content submitted, you claim total ownership of your publication. If you submit your name you will receive 100% credit for your content. By submitting content you give infosnacks full permission to publish the content indefinitely via any media outlet in accordance with our Terms of Use.

Why should I submit my email?

By submitting an email you claim ownership to your content and allow infosnacks to contact you if there is an issue with the content you submitted. Emails are for internal use only. Emails will never be displayed on the site, given, or sold to third parties in accordance with our Terms of Use. We may also use your email to keep you informed about new features, events, ect.. You can unsubscribe from these types of emails at anytime.

Are you going to make more icons?

Yes. Every subject (top level classification) should have an icon – if we have been doing our job. After a category (second level classification) has 20 snacks we will create a unique icon for that category.

How do I join?

It's easy! Just publish a snack and be sure to incude your name (email and website optional) and you will be added to the author page along with your infosnacking friends. Right now there are no accounts or passwords. If you think that would be a powerful addition to the site please let us know here.
