Tape

Tape is a thin strip of material, typically made of cloth, paper, or plastic, that is coated with an adhesive substance on one or both sides. It is commonly used for sticking things together or for masking off areas when painting. There are many different types of tape available, each with its own specific use. For example, duct tape is a strong, waterproof tape that is often used for repairs, while masking tape is a less sticky tape that is used for temporary applications such as painting. Some tapes, such as bias tape, are used in sewing to finish off raw edges or to add decorative accents to clothing or other fabric items.
